Axel has an extensive background in human resource management. As a HR generalist, he has introduced and implemented (strategic) changes in various industries and enterprises. His experience covers corporations such as DSM, Laurus Nederland and Super de Boer. In addition, he has proven his ability to integrate the human factor into organizational goals and changes within several medium-sized and smaller companies.
Since 1995, Axel has been specializing in change processes that focus on the development of employees. Binding people to common objectives and creating personal learning and development opportunities constitute the core principles of his approach. As a trainer/lecturer of various higher education programs, he teaches future professionals and managers how to deal with the dynamics between people, their organization and their environment.
Axel sees simulations and games – to which he was introduced during the Executive Master of Management and Organization at TiasNimbas Business School – as a powerful tool.
